In The Arrogant Sylvia Kristel plays a woman hitchhiking 

through the California desert on her way to Los Angeles. 

She is picked up by a mysterious motorcycle rider 

who may be a psychopath.

Sylvia Kristel epitomized the exploitation film actress. 

She is the most recognizable exploitation actress 

because of her starring role as Emmanuelle 

in the first three and the seventh, and final, 

of the Emmanuelle films. Sylvia Kristel was beautiful, with a face

 full of alluring and seductive expressions.

The Arrogant is a film from Kristel's 'Hollywood' period in the 80s
